Breast elastography

Breast Elastography is a latest sonographic imaging technique which investigates details related to breast lesions along with traditional ultrasonography and mammography. Ultrasound elastography facilitates a non-invasive evaluation and analysis of the “stiffness” of a lesion. This enhances the chances of a precise characterisation of breast lesions. As per recent research, this methodology helps in a more accurate diagnosis of breast cancer than conventional sonographies and helps in reducing the number of breast biopsy.

COLOUR DOPPLER

Color Doppler is a painless, outpatient medical imaging technique which is used to provide visualization of the blood flow with the help of color processing so as to make it easy for a doctor to clearly see what is happening inside the body. A regular ultrasound uses sound waves to produce images, but can't show blood flow. This technique requires the use of an ultrasound machine which is capable of Color Doppler effect. We’re one of the few diagnostic center to conduct this test.

ANOMALY SCAN

An anomaly scan is an ultrasound test which is generally conducted between 18-22 weeks of pregnancy or in the second trimester. It is also knowns as ultrasound level II and helps in gauging the growth and development of the fetus. It also helps in analysing the position of the placenta, the umbilical cord and amniotic fluid around the baby. It is also known by the name of morphology or 20-weeks scan. It helps in determining the health of the baby and sex determination is strongly prohibited.

Liver elastography/Fibroscan

Liver elastography/Fibroscan is a process of imaging conducted on liver fibrosis for a chronic and invariable investigation of fibrosis. The transmission of the sound wave is completely painless. It is conducted with an ultrasound probe which transmits a low-frequency pulse or a shear wave to the liver tissue right under the rib cage. This process is completely painless and helps in determining whether the liver disease is advanced or not.
